The Main Street Harmonizers are the Lexington, SC chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society (formally known as The Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America).
We are a group of barbershop enthusiasts from throughout the midlands area who have joined together to promote a cappella (no musical accompaniment) singing and traditional barbershop harmony.
Founded in March, 2004, the Main Street Harmonizers, perform all over Lexington and Richland Counties, including concerts every spring, and the annual patriotic concert every summer at our host Lexington Baptist Church.
We welcome fellow enthusiasts and those who are just curious to come join us for a few hours, or a few years, and rekindle the memories of Barbershop Harmonies of old. Our rehearsal are open to all, and we provide music for guests to join in the fun.
If you are interested in more information in the Main Street Harmonizers contact any of the officers shown on our contacts page, and drop in on a rehearsal or two.
Keep an eye out on our event calendar to see if we will be performing near you in the future.
